Ajax Amsterdam central defender in Jan Vertonghen said he did not want to rush to leave the club because of the new contract ends in 2013.
24-year-old Belgian was sought a number of big European clubs. Although time admitted his desire to play at bigger clubs in one day, but he did not want to go now.
Vertonghen still happy playing for Dutch Eredivisie club.
"I've definitely will last for six months ahead," said Jan Vertonghen in the club's official website.
"I will consider what happens after that. I want to stay at Ajax until my contract ends here."
