Bayern really wish I could reclaim the top position in the face of the host Coface Arena in Mainz, Sunday or Monday (28/11) pm dawn. Moreover, they are simply left behind by one point from rivals.
But even Bayern Munich lost its position atop the German Bundesliga. Position taken by Borussia Dortmund who beat Hamburg SV 2-0. Even joined Borussia Moenchengladbach Bayern after displacing the 3-0 win over Cologne.
Bayern were forced to give up 3-2. The defeat was not only thwart the ambitions of Bayern but make them stuck at number three.
The match was exciting as both teams went insistent win the game. Mainz opening victory over Andreas Ivanschitz in the 11th minute. However, Bayern are able to equalize.
Only, the new Bayern could find the net Mainz in the 56th minute. The goal was scored by Daniel van Buyten header from a free kick forward Toni Kroos.
Host solidify his lead to 3-1. This time, Niko Bungert's turn to score in the 74th minute. Furthermore, Van Buyten missed Bayern can only minimize the time the match remaining 11 minutes. As with his first goal, he completed a free-kick Kroos. But he failed to save Bayern from defeat.
