Alessandro Del Piero Juventus rid of Bologna brought success in the Coppa Italia. Though Del Piero played for 120 minutes with eight stitches in his head.
However, for the captain who is more often not shown this season, the game against Bologna was very enjoyable. Although advised to rest by a team of doctors, Del Piero is determined to play, and over 120 minutes without difficulty.
"It took 120 minutes to pass through Bologna in the Italian Cup and qualify for the quarterfinals. It was a tough game where we were able to react to a goal in injury time equalizer. You just have to see how we care about the target objective in that arena," Del Piero wrote on his official website.
Del Piero himself grateful stitches in his head is not problematic when it comes to full play against Bologna.
"Though it took on a wound protector, I feel good, and happy with my game. I'm satisfied with 120 minutes, and ready to concentrate on the next game, Monday against traveling to the Olimpico," he added.
Tonight, Juventus is going to face tough resistance when visited Rome, at Olimpico. However, Del Piero not worried. He was impatient to bring back Juventus snatch full points. "We're not going to stop now! Bring Rome to us!" he stated.
