At the end of the lap, slowly but surely, Spies passed Dovizioso and Pedrosa. Spies was in second position, behind Stoner.

When Stoner slightly widened, Spies take advantage of existing loopholes to bypass the Australian rider. Spies now leads the race and will look to win both this season after the Dutch GP.
However, victory is not as easy as that, ultimately failed in front of the finish line. Right in the track straight ahead of the finish, Stoner speed bike as fast as possible and Spies race just before the finish line. Stoner had won only by a thin edge, which is 00.015 seconds.
